This week athletes participated in the LAVic Jetstar Round, dressing up in the theme of Orange.  Orange food items were on sale at the canteen while a paper plane throwing competition was held during events for each age group.

Congratulations once again to Nelson Banigo (Eagles). Nelson has made it a clean sweep on the track this season, this week breaking the Under 8 300 metres in a new record time off 55.84 secs. Nelson now holds all Boys Under 8 track records.  Well done to Emma Stewart (Blues) & Zali Lorenc Young (Dolphins) who both recorded 5 PB’s.

Next Friday evening we will be conducting a twilight meet commencing at 5pm.  We will be looking for helpers to assist with set up from 4pm.  We will running a BBQ for the evening selling sausage & onions, hamburgers & coleslaw.   During the evening we are expecting a visit from Santa.  The Christmas Raffle will be drawn, so if you haven’t purchased your tickets yet, Friday night is your last chance to be in the draw for Coles/Myers vouchers.  This will be our final Centre meet for 2016.

Next Saturday BMLAC will have 6 teams representing the Centre at the State Relay Championships at Lakeside Stadium.
