The weather was perfect for our Centre meet on Saturday morning.  We even managed to complete majority of our required catch-up events from the  previous week’s washout.

Congratulations to Nelson Banigo (Eagles) & Riley Dart (Eagles) who both set new Centre records this week.  Nelson produced an outstanding run in the Under 8 100m to break a record that had stood for 47 years; since the commencement of the Bacchus Marsh Centre.  The previous record held by Stephen Trask was 15.80 secs and Nelson ran 15.62 secs.  Riley Dart ran a consistently paced 1500 metres to set a new record time of 4:56.22 mins for the Under 16 age group.  Well done boys.

PB Stars of the Week go to Alexandra Quittenden (Dolphins), Kira Watts (Eagles) and Tyrah Doyle (Dolphins) who all recorded 6 PB’s on Saturday.

Our relays teams are all training hard in preparation for the Region Relay Championships to be held at Melton on Saturday 17th November.  BMLAC have entered 24 teams into the Championships.
