The Bacchus Marsh Little Athletics 2019/20 track and field season came to an abrupt end during the week when Little Athletic Victoria advised all Centres to cease all competitions due to COVID-19.  This included the cancellation of the BMLA Centre Championships which were scheduled for last Saturday.

The Centre proceeded with the end of season award presentations with limited persons in attendance whilst live streaming to all members and community supporters.

President, Maria Downes welcomed award winners and expressed her disappointment with having to cancel the Championships but reminded all members that the health and wellbeing of everyone was paramount at this time.  

Presentations shortly got underway with 10-year Little Athletics Victoria service awards presented to Zane Rich, Hayden Lloyd and Nate Sadhai.  7-year service awards were then presented to James Burton, Matilda Clarke, Charlie Conroy, Ava Cook, Mackenzie Dart, Evie Ducas, Shameka Grero, Ryan Lister, Alex Lloyd, Ruby Payne, Anna Seymour, Samuel White, Amelia Carr, Oliver Carr, Ellie Conroy, Imogen Lidgett-Egan.

Season Award winners were then presented to Age Group Champions as follows:
