Cross Country this week was conducted at Lake Dewar, Myrniong.  Unfortunately attendance numbers were down this week.  

In her first Cross Country run, Myah Estlick ran well in the Under 6 500 metres, crossing the line first.  In the Under 7 & 8 1000 metres, Imogen Lidgett and Deegan Doyle were first in the Under 7 age group. Sarah Burton claimed victory over Ava Cook in the Under 8 girls and in a fantastic finish Kai Cunningham just pipped Nicholas Ide on the line to take the win for the boys.   The  Under 9/10 1500 metre event was taken out by Kai Cunningham, who ran a dominating race, crossing the line in 5:58.92 mins and for the girls, Freya Lidgett was a clear standout performer.  In the Under 11 & 12 2000 metres, the Under 11 winners were Elise Cook and Xavier Goodman while Under 12 winners were Tamara Henry and Ben Peterson.  The Open age athletes contested the 3000 metre course and Kirsty Bresnan claimed line honours in this event.

Next week will be our Centre Open Day to be held at Bullengarook Reserve.    Everyone will walk the course at 10.30am with the first event to commence at 11am.
