The conditions were perfect on Saturday morning for competition and the Bacchus Marsh athletes excelled with an amazing 271 personal best results recorded for the meet.  Five athletes, Iyla Robinson, Raynie Broadbent, Taniesha Andrews, Braxton Marshall and Jackson Briggs all recorded 4 PB’s for the meet and were all awarded the PB Stars of the Week.  The standout performance came on the track when Nelson Banigo bolted down the straight to record a new Under 12 100 metre Centre Record.  Nelson ran a blistering 13.36 seconds for the event.

Centre trainings continue to be held on a Thursday afternoons for all registered members.

With the State COVID restrictions continuing to ease the Centre looks forward to returning to their original 4 week rotation program and also allowing larger groups to compete, especially in the Under 13-16 age groups.
