The Bacchus Marsh Centre celebrated PB Round on Saturday. This competition day is where athlete’s PB achievements are celebrated whilst focusing on their own improvements. Athletes were rewarded with a Little Athletics Victoria PB ribbon at the end of each event in which they achieved a PB. Ruby Payne and Mitchell Wells were the PB Stars of the Week, both achieving 5PB’s.
Two new Centre records were also set for the meet. Elliot Banigo broke the Under 8 60m Hurdles record, running 10.98 secs narrowly breaking the previous record of 10.99 held by older brother Nelson. Ryan Lister broke the Under 14 Shot Put record with a new distance of 10.75m.
Centre training will be held this Thursday commencing at 4pm.
