2019 SUBWAY WMR Relay Carnival
The 2019 SUBWAY WMR Relay Carnival is our main team competition for the season for U9 to U16 athletes. This is the only Carnival where boys and girls can run against each other in a mixed sex team. Athletes carry a baton which they pass onto the next member of their team.

Who can compete?
To be eligible to enter the SUBWAY Region Relay Carnival, athletes must be registered and be a financial Little Athletics Victoria Competitive Member by the closing date and time for entries. There are no exemptions.
How you can compete
Athletes can enter a maximum of three team events only, in a ‘combination’ of any of the following:

4 x 100m (Male/Female and/or Mixed Sex (MS))

4 x 200m (Male/Female and/or Mixed Sex (MS))

Medley (Male/Female)

Example:
In the U9 Girls 4 x 100m, the first place finishers from each of the 7 Regions and the next 17 best performances from all Regions will qualify to compete at the State Championships.
In the U13 Girls 4 x 100m, the first place finishers from each of the 7 Regions and the next 9 best performances from all Regions will qualify to compete at the State Championships.
In the MS 4 x 200m and Medley the first place finishers from each of the 7 Regions and the next fastest performance from all Regions will qualify to compete at the State Championships.
