The 2024/25 State Track and Field Championships were held at Casey Fields on March 8 & 9.
Congratulations to the 18 athletes who represented the Centre.
BMLAC won 3 Gold, 4 Silver and 1 Bronze medal.
Mackenzie Estlick set 2 new pending State records. Macca blitzed the field in the Girls Under 17 100m and dominated the Girls Under 17 200m, to cross the finish line in a time of 24.69secs. Macca claimed Gold in the Shot Put and placed 2nd in the Long Jump.
Caleb Hurst ran a massive PB in the Boys Under 16 800m to claim the State Silver medal.
Alexis Farrell threw a PB of 11.96m to claim the Silver State medal in the Girls Under 12 Shot Put and backed up to take Silver in the Discus on Day 2.
Alex Lloyd completed his final State Track and Field Championships claiming the Bronze medal in the Boys Under 17 High Jump with a PB 1.75m.
This was the 5th State medal that Alex has won in High Jump during his time at Little Athletics.
