Little Athletics was conducted in perfect conditions on Saturday morning at Masons Lane Reserve.

Tamara Henry continued her dominance setting her third Centre record for the season.  Tamara jumped a new record distance of 10.16 metres in the Girls Under 16 Triple Jump.  Jaxon Shea was awarded the PB Star of the Week, achieving PB’s in his maximum 5 events – 60m hurdles, 70m, 300m, Shot Put and High Jump.  214 PB’s were recorded by athletes for the day’s competition.

This weekend BMLAC will conduct their weekly meet on Saturday at 8.30am.  Seven athletes will be representing the Centre at the State Combined Events at Lakeside Stadium, Albert Park.  Mathilde Grant and Harrison Lovett will compete on Saturday and Sergio Arrivillaga, Matthew & David Elefterescu, Nicholas Ide and Emma Stewart will compete on the Sunday.

Entries have now opened for the Centre Championship Day to be held on March 20.  Entry forms will be emailed to all members or can be downloaded from the Centre website.
