Bacchus Marsh Little Athletics Centre (BMLAC) is proud to celebrate a remarkable evening at the 2026 Little Athletics Victoria Gala Awards Dinner, receiving two prestigious awards that recognise the Centre’s commitment to excellence both on and off the athletics field.
Centre Marketing of the Year
BMLAC was announced as the recipient of the 2026 Little Athletics Victoria Centre Marketing of the Year Award.
This prestigious award recognises Centres that have implemented an innovative marketing program, project or campaign that has successfully elevated the profile of their Centre within the community, attracted new members and maximised member retention.
Receiving this award is a tremendous honour and reflects the passion, creativity and dedication invested in promoting Bacchus Marsh Little Athletics Centre and showcasing everything that makes it a welcoming, inclusive and family-friendly environment for young athletes.
The Centre extends its sincere thanks to its Committee, volunteers, officials, sponsors, athletes and families, whose ongoing support and enthusiasm have played a vital role in achieving this recognition.
BMLAC remains committed to continuing to grow Little Athletics within the Bacchus Marsh community by providing opportunities for children of all abilities to participate, have fun, build friendships and achieve their personal best.
Outstanding Community Fundraising
The Centre was also honoured to receive an award recognising its outstanding fundraising efforts for the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal.
During the 2026 fundraising campaign, BMLAC raised an incredible $11,626.82, the second-highest fundraising total of any Little Athletics Centre across Victoria.
This outstanding achievement was made possible through the generosity and support of Centre members, volunteers, sponsors, local businesses and the wider Bacchus Marsh community, who donated, participated and helped make the annual Relaython such a tremendous success.
The Centre sincerely thanks everyone who contributed to this remarkable result. This recognition belongs to the entire BMLAC community and highlights what can be achieved when people come together to support a worthy cause.
