Bacchus Marsh athletes competed in blustery conditions at Masons Lane Reserve on Saturday morning.  Attendance numbers continue to grow with over 225 athletes registered so far and another 10 taking advantage of the 2 week free trial offer.

Two new records were set during competition by Centre Captain, Sam White.  Sam ran 5:30.40 mins in the Under 17 1500 metres, then in the 100m stopped the clock in 14.48 seconds.

Kai Mills, Blaithe Fletcher, Nyah Halfhide, Eva Williams and Olive Blokland all recorded 5 personal best results earning them the Darley Bakehouse PB Stars of the Week.  The Domino’s Trainer of the Week was awarded to Billy Pickett.

The Centre have entered 50 teams into the Western Metro Region Relays to be held at Melton City on Saturday 18th November.  A total of 61 Under 9-17 athletes are busy training for the upcoming Carnival.

Next Saturday’s competition will return to program 1, commencing at 8.30am.
