What an incredible weekend it was for BMLAC at the State Championships, with our athletes producing a fantastic set of results and proudly representing our Centre.
Across the Championships our athletes achieved an outstanding 1 Gold, 4 Silver and 4 Bronze State medals, along with 12 Top 8 Final placings. These results are a wonderful reflection of the hard work and determination shown by our athletes.
Just as pleasing was the number of personal best performances recorded across the weekend. Many of our athletes rose to the occasion, delivering outstanding efforts and continuing to improve when it mattered most.
It was also fantastic to see the strong team spirit on display. Our athletes were regularly spotted at events cheering on their teammates, offering encouragement and celebrating each other’s performances. That support and camaraderie is a big part of what makes our Club so special.
A massive thank you goes to our wonderful Team Manager, Alli Grant and Assistant Team Manager, Bethan White who worked tirelessly across the weekend ensuring everything ran smoothly for our athletes and families.
We would also like to sincerely thank all of our amazing parents who willingly stepped in to fill duty roles throughout the Championships. We are very grateful for everyone who volunteered their time.
