The Centre celebrated their final meet prior to the Christmas break, conducting a modified program at their Twilight meet on Friday evening.  All athletes participated in 4 events with a remarkable 236 Personal Best results recorded.  The following 10 athletes recorded 4 out 4 event PB’s to be awarded the Darley Bakehouse PB Stars of the Week – Skyla Berryman, Mya Berryman, Lexi Stapleton, Ava Radolovic, Auden Sundqvist, Jeremiah Pio, Braydn Rich, Ethan Sayers, Elouise Evans and Scarlett Wake.

A special visit from Santa was a highlight for the night where all athletes had the chance to meet with Santa and were given a Zooper Dooper, which was much appreciated on a warm night of competition.  The excitement from the kids was priceless as Santa arrived courtesy of the local Victorian Police.

Bridie Shanahan (Dolphins) continues to add to her record count, bettering her Under 16 Shot Put record with a new distance of 10.16 metres.

Congratulations to all BMLAC Christmas raffle winners and a big thank you to local businesses who supported the fundraiser.
